The Constance section of the German Alpine Club (DAV) e. V. (short DAV Konstanz ) is part of the German Alpine Club . The section , which was founded on March 21, 1874, has 10,365 members (as of December 31, 2019), making it one of the largest sports clubs in Germany , one of the largest sections of the German Alpine Club and the largest club in Constance .

Huts of the section
- Gauenhütte ( Vorarlberg ) at 1235 m , acquired in 1971 and expanded in 1974.
- Konstanzer Hütte ( Verwall ) at 1688 m , built in 1885, after being destroyed in 1988 by a mudslide , it was rebuilt elsewhere in 1989.
