The striker has been playing for SC Freiburg in the 1st Bundesliga since the 2009/2010 season . Nowak began her career at TSV Eschach, her path led her via TSV Meckenbeuren and VfL Sindelfingen to SC Freiburg. In the Bundesliga she made her debut on September 20, 2009, when she came on for Valeria Kleiner in the 36th minute of the game between SC Freiburg and FF USV Jena . On May 15, 2013, she turned her back on SC Freiburg and left the club.
