The Semcoglas Holding GmbH or Semcoglas Group is active in the manufacture and processing of flat glass . The headquarters are in Westerstede ( Lower Saxony ). The company manufactures glazing products at 18 locations across Germany. More than 9 million square meters of safety and insulating glass are produced and processed every year.

history

The Semcoglas Group was created in 1997 through the merger of the two companies Schüller Qualitätglas from Westerstede and the Isoglas Group from Nordhorn. A float glass factory has been operated in Osterweddingen together with Euroglas since 2006 . In 2008 Germany's northernmost insulating glass production facility was opened at the Kropp location . In total, insulating glass, safety glass and glass for interior applications are manufactured and sold at 18 locations.

Products

In the facade area, the company sells specially coated glass under the name Klimaglas , which is optimized for a good balance between maximum daylight and protection against overheating in summer. Semcoglas is also active in the areas of thermal insulation glazing, solar control glass , soundproof glass and safety glass . For interior applications, for example, glass doors, kitchen rear walls, all-glass showers and stairs are made of glass. The subsidiary Finiglas also produces curved facade glass.
