reception

The album was positively received by the press. Thomas Kerpen praises it in Ox-Fanzine as "an extremely aesthetic, artistic rock album that spans the arc between catchy pop and improvised jam sessions and the complexity of which you as a listener have something for a long time". Markus Peltner from Babyblauen Seiten sums it up: “The album has no weaknesses, but a lot of highlights. There is no music here that can be heard on the radio. Here music is offered that is often 'moving', that can touch you, that grabs you and carries you away. Great cinema and already a classic. ”The music magazine eclipsed selected Lightbulb Sun at 38th place on its list of the 150 most important prog albums.
