Richard Barbieri
Richard Barbieri (born November 30, 1957 in London , England ) is an English synthesizer player, keyboard player and composer .
Career
He became known in the late 1970s and early 1980s as a member of the New Wave pioneers Japan (and their brief reincarnation as Rain Tree Crow). Today he is especially popular as the keyboard player in the group Porcupine Tree , of which he has been a member since late 1993. He worked on six studio albums and took part in several European tours.
