Semelhe is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Semelhe Church

Semelhe belongs to the district and the city (pt:  Cidade ) Braga in the district of Braga . The community had an area of ​​3 km² and 782 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Semelhe, Real and Dume were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Real, Dume e Semelhe .
