Peter Sempel (* 1954 in Hamburg ) is a German film director , photographer and screenwriter .

life and work

Sempel grew up in Australia and returned to Germany in 1968, where he studied literature and sports at the University of Hamburg . He has been working as a filmmaker since 1981 . He lives in Hamburg.
