Sempervivum borissovae is a species of houseleek ( Sempervivum ) in the thick-leaf family(Crassulaceae).

Vegetative characteristics
Sempervivum borissovae grows as a fairly open, flat rosette plant with a diameter of up to 3 centimeters and short, slender runners . The obovate, almost stem-round, bare leaves have a strong tip. Its green leaf blade is reddish brown in the upper half. It is about 2 millimeters long, 9 millimeters wide and about 3 millimeters thick.
Generative characteristics
The flowering shoot reaches a length of 7 to 10 centimeters. It has bare, green or reddish-brown leaves down to the base of the back. The 12 to 14-fold flowers have a diameter of about 2.5 centimeters. Their reddish sepals are up to 8 millimeters long. The lanceolate, deep pink petals have somewhat lighter, less irregularly sawn edges. The stamens are lilac to dark red, the dust bag red and the stylus bright pink.

Systematics and distribution
Sempervivum borissovae is widespread in the Caucasus between rocks on a rib at an altitude of about 1850 meters. The species is only known from the locality of the type.
The first description by Royden Samuel Wale was published in 1942. A nomenclature synonym is Sempervivum caucasicum var. Borissovae (Wale) Gurgen. (1972).
The species name borissovae honors the Russian botanist at the Komarov Institute in St. Petersburg, Ms. Antonina Georgievna Borissova (1903–1970), who dealt with the Sedum and Sempervivum species.
