The Qaratshuk transmitter mast is the tallest structure in Syria . It is a 300.2 m high transmission mast for broadcasting VHF and television programs .
The mast stands on the 745 m high mountain Qaratshuk in the extreme northeastern corner of Syria, about 10 km south of the city of al-Malikiya in the governorate of al-Hasakah .
