Localization of Carinthia in Austria

The Pyramidenkogel transmitter was built in 1957 and existed until the 1960s on the Pyramidenkogel in southern Carinthia .

The transmitter was a wooden building "in the woods" with two 60 meter high towers of steel . The two masts were connected with a steel bridge and guyed with ropes. The plant was built in 1957, the completion took place on November 22nd and went into trial operation on November 25th. Regular operations began on December 5, 1957. It is not known when the facility was removed in the 1960s.

In addition to the towers there was a lookout tower from wood (now compare: Pyramidenkogel lookout tower , built from 2012 to 2013).
