The Sigmaringen (Franziskanerweg) transmitter is a filling station for radio. It is located above the town of Sigmaringen on a wooded hill in close proximity to the federal highways 313 and 32 , about one kilometer northwest of downtown Sigmaringen. A free-standing reinforced concrete mast is used as an antenna carrier.

From here the town of Sigmaringen and the surrounding area is supplied with the radio program of Radio Seefunk . In addition, the frequency 103.7 MHz is coordinated with a transmission power of 0.1 kW for the radio program Radio 7.

Up until the introduction of DVB-T , this broadcaster broadcast the television program ZDF (transmission power: 0.03 kW) and SWR television (transmission power: 0.03 kW) terrestrially .
