Senet Snt |
Senet , or Zenet , was an ancient Egyptian queen of the 12th dynasty in the Middle Kingdom (approx. 2000–1700 BC).
Senet is so far only known of two statues that were found in the Nile Delta . Both statues show her seated, with the upper half lost. Senet is known as the " king's wife " and " king mother ". The identification of her husband is difficult because he is not mentioned on the statues. Amenemhet II in particular has recently been proposed, as no other queen is known of him. Your royal son would then be Sesostris II.
