St. Martin Sensau

Sensau is a district of Steinhöring in the district of Ebersberg .

The leaning tower of the St. Martin branch church is well known. The branch church of Sensau is a late Gothic building from the beginning of the 16th century. The church with a massive saddle tower was built on a mountain slope. Over 100 years ago the subsurface began to sink and the tower detached itself from the church (deviation of up to 1.20 m from the perpendicular). In 1955 the tower was underpinned and has been fixed again since then, but has remained the "leaning tower" ever since. The patron saint of the church is St. Martin.

Since December 15, 2014, Sensau has been connected by the MVV on-call bus line 443, which provides bus connections to other districts of Steinhöring, the neighboring community of Frauenneuharting and districts of Ebersberg . In Tulling and Steinhöring there are also transfer options to the Wasserburg – Grafing railway line .
