Seo Jung-hyup (born January 3, 1965 in Ulsan ) is an independent South Korean politician who has served as interim mayor of Seoul since July 10, 2020 .
Seo studied international economics at Seoul National University . Since January 2020 he has acted as the first deputy mayor for administrative matters and already headed the city's cultural department in 2019. He was promoted to office after Mayor Park Won-soon's death .
