The Seokbinggo of Gyeongju is a historic ice house in South Korea , which under the Joseon -König Yeongjo was built in the 1741st

Originally there was a wooden ice house about 100 meters to the west since 1738, which King Yeongjo had rebuilt from stone in 1741 and built at the current location in the northern part of Wolseong Fortress . Lying in north-south direction, it is 19 meters long, six meters wide and 5.45 meters high. It is made of more than a thousand stones, the roof is arched. The roof has three ventilation shafts. The only entrance to Seokbinggo is from the south via a staircase. The building has been the National Treasure of South Korea (No. 66) since 1963.
