Serge Gaisser (born January 5, 1958 in Muespach ) is a former French football player .

Serge Gaisser grew up in Saint-Louis (Haut-Rhin) and, as a boy, played his football with the juniors of FC Saint-Louis . As an active player, a trip to RC Besançon ( Ligue 2 ) followed in 1977 , but he only played six games there and therefore returned disaffected to FC Saint-Louis.

A year later he moved to FC Basel . At Basel he became Swiss champion , twice watch cup , once Philipscup and once Alpencup winner. In the 1981 Alpine Cup final against FC Sochaux , FCB won on penalties - Gaisser scored a goal in that match and successfully took a penalty. Gaisser also scored a goal in the watch cup final in 1979 (a 4-1 win against FC Grenchen ).

Gaisser played for four years at FCB. From the summer of 1984 he played three years at FC Mulhouse (Ligue 2) and from the summer of 1986 one year at FC Concordia Basel in the second division . Serge Gaisser later acted as a player-coach at Sierentz, Muespach and Blotzheim. Today Gaisser works in accounting, finance and controlling in the construction and transport department of Basel-Stadt .
