Serge Meyer (born October 14, 1976 in Lyss ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player who last played for SC Langenthal on the position of defender .
Career
Serge Meyer began his career at SC Lyss in the National League B . From 1993 he played for the elite A-Juniors of the EHC Biel, before he was accepted into the professional squad of the EHC in 1996 and played for it continuously until 2008. He played his best season in 2006/07 when he was able to achieve 32 scorer points in qualifying and a further twelve points in the play-offs to win the championship. This made him one of the top-scoring defenders in the league. In the 2008/09 season, the Swiss also played five games in which he scored a goal for the second division club SC Langenthal . For the 2010/11 season he left the EHC Biel and moved definitely to SC Langenthal in the National League B . In the summer of 2011, Meyer ended his career due to an injury.
