Sergio Bazzini

Sergio Bazzini (born February 26, 1935 in Pistoia , Italy) is an Italian screenwriter and director .

Life

Bazzini studied musicology at the Florence Conservatory and then moved to Rome, where he began in 1962 as an assistant director to Gianfranco Parolini and other genre directors in film. As a screenwriter, he delivered more impressive things, such as for films by Salvatore Samperi and Marco Ferreri . After his contribution to Ostwind in 1969, he directed the experimental film Il visitatore for Italian television in 1971 and his only film for the cinema in 1974, Donna è bella , which was created from his own script . After a few more scripts, he turned to theater work and staged according to his own templateLa fidanzata della scheletro in 1982; In 1986 his Caravanserraglio premiered.

Bazzini is a lecturer in film and television language at the Istituto di Stato R. Rossellini in Rome and at the Accademia dell'Immagine . He also published an autobiographical book, Pistoia-Honolulu .
