Sergio Pérez , full name Sergio Maximiliano Pérez Visca , (born May 26, 1988 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.66 meter tall midfielder Pérez was at the beginning of his career in 2006 in the ranks of the reserve team (Formativas) of Club Atlético Peñarol . In the "Aurinegros" he was then a member of the professional squad in the 2006/07 and 2007/08 seasons and played 19 games in the Primera División across all seasons . He scored three goals. In mid-August 2008 he was loaned to Tacuarembó FC for the rest of the year . The Northern Uruguayans have made 13 premier league appearances and one goal scored for him. Another loan followed in mid-February 2009. This time the receiving club was Club Atlético Cerro . With the Montevideans he was in the Clausura 2009 eleven times in the top Uruguayan league and scored two goals. At the beginning of August that year he returned to Peñarol and was back on the reserve team. In July 2010 it was awarded a second time to Cerro. In the 2010/11 season he ran there 14 times in the Primera División and hit the opposing goal once. From mid-2011 he was back in Peñarol's reserve for a month and a half. In mid-August, he was signed by the Racing Club de Montevideo , for which he completed five first division matches in the 2011 Apertura. In January 2012 he rejoined the Club Atlético Cerro. In his third engagement with the "Albicelestes" he was used in the Clausura 2012 six times in the league. As with Racing, he failed to score a competitive goal. In mid-July 2012, the first division club El Tanque Sisley signed him. There he remained without league use. In January 2013 he moved to Central Español within the league and played ten personally goalless first division games in the following Clausura. From mid-July 2013 he continued his career in Argentina at Club Almirante Brown . He has made eleven league games and one goal in the Primera B Nacional for the Argentines. Deportes Concepción was then his employer from the beginning of July 2014. Across the seasons he was used in 26 league games (one goal) of the Primera B and six matches (no goal) of the Copa Chile . At the end of August 2016, he switched to the Uruguayan second division club Atlético Progreso . For this he completed twelve second division games in the 2016 season and scored one goal.
