Sergio Tedesco

Sergio Tedesco (born April 23, 1928 in La Spezia , † June 3, 2012 in Perugia ) was an Italian actor , opera singer (lyric tenor ) and voice actor .

Life

Tedesco made his concert debut at the age of 9 and was seen in five films as a child actor in 1939 alone. He was quickly hired as a voice actor for young parts. At the Rome Opera he sang in the choir in prestige productions; He also knew how to fill in solo parts, such as the shepherd in Tosca or the child in Giuseppe Giusti Sinopolis La Zolfara . He became known for the Italian dubbing of the Tarzan films.

After graduating from the art college, he played Shakespeare and from 1946 was engaged for five years for RAI radio productions . In 1956 he won a singing competition in Spoleto and worked at all the major opera houses in Italy, but also in Europe and South America. He was still very active as a voice actor; every now and then he played character roles in films.

Tedesco is the father of actress Paola Tedesco .
