Serhiy Lyubchenko

Serhij Oleksijowytsch Lyubtschenko ( Ukrainian Сергій Олексійович Любченко , Russian Сергей Алексеевич Любченко Sergej Lyubchenko ; born May 31, 1984 in Poltava handball ) is a Ukrainian handball player .

The 2.02 meter tall and 98 kilogram heavy left backcourt player was under contract from 2005 to 2012 with ZTR Zaporizhia , with whom he was Ukrainian champion in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 and cup winner in 2011. Previously he ran for the Belarusian club Brest GK Meschkow , with which he won the championship and cup in 2004 and 2005.

Serhiy Lyubchenko scored five goals in five international matches for the Ukrainian national team (as of December 2009) and was in the squad for the 2010 European handball championship .
