Serhij Boryssowytsch Onufrijenko ( Ukrainian Сергій Борисович Онуфрієнко ; born January 31, 1985 in Zaporizhia , Ukrainian SSR , USSR ) is a Ukrainian handball player .

The 1.90 meter tall and 84 kilogram heavy right back player has been under contract with HK Motor Zaporizhia since the 2013/2014 season , with whom he became Ukrainian champion in 2014. Before that, he played for four years for HC Dinamo Minsk , with whom he won the Belarusian championship in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 as well as the 2010 and 2013 cup winners. His hometown club is STR Zaporizhia , with which he became champions in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009. In the 2015/16 season Onufrijenko was under contract with the French first division club Paris Saint-Germain , with whom he won the French championship. He then moved to league rivals Pays d'Aix UC . He has been under contract with C 'Chartres Métropole handball since summer 2018 .

Serhiy Onufrijenko scored 143 goals in 23 international matches for the Ukrainian national team (as of December 2009). He also played at the 2010 European Championship .
