Serik Jeleuow
Serik Samatowitsch Jeleuow (* 15. December 1980 in Karaganda ) is a former Kazakh boxer in the lightweight .
He won the Asian Olympic qualification in the People's Republic of China in March 2004 and then took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens . There he won in the round of 16 against the 2008 Olympic champion Félix Díaz (28:16) and in the quarterfinals against the 2009 world champion Domenico Valentino (29:23), before he was eliminated in the semifinals against the eventual professional world champion Amir Khan (26:40) and won a bronze medal.
At the Asian Olympic qualification in Thailand in 2008 , he lost in the quarterfinals against Asian champion Hu Qing . Kazakhstan then sent Merei Aqschalow to the 2008 Olympic Games.
