Sestiere (Genoa)
The Commenda of San Giovanni in the Sestiere Prè
The historical center of Genoa was divided into six districts , which were called Sestieri. These former sixths of the city were Prè , Portoria , Molo , Maddalena , San Vincenzo and San Teodoro .
They do not coincide with the current districts of Genoa . With one exception, they fall into what is now the Munizip Centro Est. Only San Teodoro is part of today's Centro Ovest municipality.
