Sette Daban ( Russian Сетте-Дабан ) is a 650 km long mountain range in eastern Siberia . It rises east of the Central Yakut lowland . The mountains reach heights of over 2000 m. It is delimited to the north by the Tompo River . There it branches off in a south-south-east direction from the main ridge of the Verkhoyansk Mountains . The Allach-Jun rivers form the border in the south and east . In the northeast of the Sette Daban lies the neighboring Suntar-Chajata Mountains . The Sette-Daban Mountains are traversed and drained by several right-hand Aldan tributaries. The largest of these rivers are the Eastern Chandyga , the Tyry and the Chanda . The taiga with Siberian stone pines reaches up to 1000 m . Due to the harsh climate, the mountain tundra begins above it .
