Sevan Boyaciyan
Sevan Boyaciyan (born June 24, 1966 in Istanbul , Turkey ) is a German concert guitarist of Armenian descent.
Life
At the age of 18 he was awarded the national prize for “ Jugend musiziert ”. He studied classical guitar music at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Trossingen and received his concert diploma at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich in 1993 under Santiago Navascués . His first three CDs document his development from a classical guitar virtuoso to a versatile improviser. He masters a variety of musical styles from classical to flamenco and Latin to rock and pop .
