Jolán Maurer-Berta
Jolán Maurer-Berta (* 1941 in Hungary ) is a violinist and violin teacher. She is a private lecturer and lives in Austria.
Life
After graduating from the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest, Jolán Maurer-Berta worked as a soloist in several countries. A contract at the Komische Oper Berlin was followed by a position as deputy. First concertmaster at the State Opera Unter den Linden and then first concertmaster at the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra .
She founded and directed the Aulin String Quartet and the Brandenburg Chamber Orchestra Berlin , was a lecturer a. a. at the University of Music "Hanns Eisler" Berlin and the University of Music Würzburg . From 1991 to 1996 she taught a master class at the Tōkyō Geijutsu Daigaku as a visiting professor and founded the Kobe Chamber Orchestra Japan .
