Sex Positions were an American hardcore punk band from New Bedford , Massachusetts .

history

Sex Positions was founded in 2002 by Rich Perusi, Eric Marcelino and Larry Anzuoni after the band The Dedication broke up. At first they called themselves Lights Out , but the band was soon renamed Sex Positions and the line-up was completed by bassist David Saladik.

In 2003 the band recorded the debut album, which was produced by Kurt Ballou , the guitarist of the band Converge , and released on the Deathwish label . (Larry Anzuoni also recorded keyboards, CD samples, and harmonica for the song Interlude .)

In 2004 the line-up was completely renewed except for Eric Marcelino, and from March 10th to April 8th, 2005 the band went on a European tour (but without Marcelino, who had not come "for serious personal reasons").

In 2007 the band reformed (Jonathan Blanchard switched from drums to guitar), but broke up after just a few shows.
