Sextus Furius (consul 488 BC)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

According to legendary ancient tradition, Sextus Furius was a Roman consul in 488 BC. Together with Spurius Nautius Rutilus .

Sextus Furius is mentioned in the tradition of Livius without cognomen , likewise Dionysius of Halicarnassus does not mention a cognomen.

For the year 488, Livy and Dionysius of Halicarnassus report Coriolan's campaign against Rome, but the consuls of the year do not play an essential role in these stories.
