Seyd Mahmood Seyd (born January 2, 1987 ) is an Iranian grass skier . He has been taking part in World Cup races in his home country since 2007 .
Career
After Seyd Mahmood Seyd had already taken part in FIS races , including alpine skiing , he started in the Grass Ski World Cup for the first time in July 2007 . In Dizin he achieved 14th place in the giant slalom and 16th place in the Super-G, making him 60th in the overall World Cup for the 2007 season. In the following years, Seyd has only participated in the World Cup races in Dizin, Iran, in addition to the FIS races. In the 2008 season he achieved eleventh place in the giant slalom and 14th place in the Super-G and was 55th in the overall World Cup. In 2009 he also reached eleventh place in the giant slalom but only 22nd in the Super-G, which is why he fell back to 66th place in the overall standings. In the 2010 season he finished 17th in the Super-G in the World Cup races and was disqualified in the giant slalom, but thanks to his bonus points from FIS races, he was able to improve to 42nd place in the overall World Cup.
No World Cup races were held in Iran in the 2011 season, Seyd only took part in the FIS races in Dizin. In the 2012 season , in addition to the FIS races, three World Cup races were held in Dizin again and Seyd placed 15th in all three races. In the overall World Cup, he improved to 31st place.
