Seyed Hossein Seyd (born April 12, 1994 ) is an Iranian grass skier . He took part in the Junior World Championship in 2010 and started in the World Cup for the first time in the same year .

Career

Seyed Hossein Seyd has only participated in grass ski races in Dizin in his home country. The first start at FIS races in July 2010 was followed two weeks later by participation in the 2010 Junior World Championship , in which he was three times in the top 20. He also took part in a World Cup giant slalom held at the same time , in which he did not qualify for the second round. At the next FIS races in Dizin in July 2011 and in July 2012, Seyd achieved his first top 10 placings, although the number of runners rated hardly exceeded ten. In August 2012 Seyd took part again in three World Cup races, in which he achieved 17th place in the giant slalom and 20th in each of the two Super-G placements in the lower midfield and thus won World Cup points for the first time. In the overall World Cup of the 2012 season, he finished 46th.
