Sezai Karakoç
Sezai Karakoç (* 1933 in Diyarbakır ) is a Turkish poet of the Second New and party leader of the Yüce Diriliş Partisi .
Karakoç studied political science at Ankara University and worked in the financial sector. He is one of the pioneers of pious exposition in Turkish literature. In his poetry he seeks to bridge traditional Islamic beliefs and modern poetic techniques.
