Shōgo Kobara ( Japanese 小 原 章 吾 Kobara Shōgo ; born November 2, 1982 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kobara learned to play football in the youth team of the Yokohama Wings and the Yokohama F. Marinos . He signed his first contract in 2001 with the Yokohama F. Marinos. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2001 he won the J.League Cup with the club . With the club he became Japanese champion in 2003 . For the club he completed 11 first division games. In 2004 he moved to the second division club Vegalta Sendai . For the club he completed 26 games. In 2005 he moved to league rivals Montedio Yamagata . In 2008 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he completed 145 games. In 2010 he moved to the second division Ehime FC . For the club he completed 26 games. In 2011 he moved to the first division club Avispa Fukuoka . At the end of the 2011 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 43 games. In 2013 he returned to Ehime FC. For the club he completed 20 games. At the end of 2013, he ended his career as a football player.
