Shōgo Matsuo ( Japanese 松尾 昇 悟 Matsuo Shōgo ; born July 27, 1987 in Kumamoto ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Matsuo learned to play football on the school team at Ozu High School and the college team at Kokushikan University . He signed his first contract with Arte Takasaki in 2010 . The club played in the third highest division in the country, the Japan Football League . For the club, he completed 56 league games. In 2012 he moved to league rivals AC Nagano Parceiro . In 2013 he was with the club champion of the Japan Football League and rose to the J3 League . For the club he completed 41 league games. In 2015 he moved to league rivals FC Ryukyu. For the club he completed 33 league games. At the end of 2015, he ended his career as a football player.
