history
The club was founded in 2003. Many players in the first squad left Okinawa Kariyushi FC after a dispute with the club's management of the Kariyushi hotel chain. In its first season, the club won the Okinawa Prefectural Division 3 North and was allowed to play in Division 1 for the coming season. This also ended the club in first place in the table and played for the 2005 season in the Okinawa Regional League. With the runner-up and victory in the regional play-off, the club was the first on Okinawa to make promotion to the JFL.
In December 2007, former Japanese national team coach Jean-Paul Rabier confirmed his contract for the 2008 season.
In January 2008, the club applied for membership of the J. League, but was rejected on February 19 by the committee. Rabier ended his contract after a year. He was followed by Hiroyuki Shinzato , who was replaced by Takeo Matsuda in 2012 .

Club logo and colors
The club color is called Bengara and has a red cast. It is also called the red ocher and is similar to Clairet . Bengara is derived from the Dutch word Bengala, which in turn is derived from Bengal , a region between India and Bangladesh . Since the dye is traditionally from Bengal to Japan, it was given the name. Okinawa is very much associated with color. The Shuri Castle in the city of Naha , one of the most imposing buildings of the region is colored in Bengara.
Two shisas can be seen on the club's coat of arms. It is a mix of a lion and a dog and is a traditional decoration seen all over Okinawa. They are usually located at house entrances. The left Shisa usually closed his mouth while the right one opened his. They are supposed to keep evil spirits away.
Stadion
The club plays its home games at the Tapic Kenso Hiyagon Stadium (タ ピ ッ ク 県 総 ひ や ご ん ス タ ジ ア ム) in Okinawa in Okinawa Prefecture . The stadium, owned by Okinawa Prefecture, has a capacity of 25,000.
