Ryōji Fukui ( Japanese 福井 諒 司 Fukui Ryōji ; born August 7, 1987 in Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Fukui learned to play football on the university team at Fukuoka University . He signed his first contract with Tokyo Verdy in 2010 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2011 he played on loan from league rivals Giravanz Kitakyushu . For the club he completed 33 league games. In 2012 he moved to the first division club Kashiwa Reysol . For the club, he completed three top division games. In 2013 he moved to the second division Tokyo Verdy. For the club he completed 48 league games. In 2016 he moved to league rivals Renofa Yamaguchi FC . In July 2016, he was loaned out to league competitor Mito HollyHock . After the loan, he was firmly committed by Mito. For the club he completed a total of 78 league games. In 2019, league rivals FC Ryukyu signed him.
