Yasuhiro Higuchi ( Japanese 樋 口 靖 洋 Higuchi Yasuhiro ; born May 5, 1961 in Mie Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Higuchi learned to play soccer on the school team at Yokkaichi Chuo Technical High School . He signed his first contract in 1980 with Nissan Motors (today: Yokohama F. Marinos). At the end of 1984 he ended his career as a football player.

In 2006 Higuchi was hired as a trainer at the Montedio Yamagata . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2008 he moved to the first division club Omiya Ardija . In 2009 he moved to the second division Yokohama FC . In 2010 he moved to the first division club Yokohama F. Marinos . From 2010 to 2011 he was the assistant coach. In 2012, Higuchi became the coach of Yokohama F. Marinos. In 2013 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club . In 2013 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . In 2015 he moved to league competitor Ventforet Kofu . In 2016 he moved to the third division YSCC Yokohama .
