Shōsuke Katayama ( Japanese 片 山 奨 典 Katayama Shōsuke ; born September 8, 1983 in Nara Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Katayama learned to play football on the school team at Kunimi High School and the college team at Kokushikan University . He signed his first contract with Nagoya Grampus in 2006 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed 25 first division games. In 2009 he moved to the second division Yokohama FC . For the club he completed 53 league games. In August 2010 he moved to league rivals Roasso Kumamoto . At the end of the 2018 season, the club was relegated to the J3 League . For the club he completed 256 league games. At the end of 2019, he ended his career as a football player.
