Shōta Iwata ( Japanese 岩田 正 太 Iwata Shōta ; born June 17, 1988 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Iwata learned to play soccer on the school team at Tokyo Gakkan High School . He signed his first contract with Thespa Kusatsu in 2007 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In May 2007 he was loaned to Ohara Gakuen JaSRA . In July 2007 he returned to Thespa Kusatsu . At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
