Shōta Kobayashi ( Japanese 古 林 将 太 Kobayashi Shōta ; born May 11, 1991 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Kobayashi learned to play soccer in Shonan Bellmare's youth team . He signed his first contract with Shonan Bellmare in 2009. The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . At the end of the 2009 season, the club rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed seven top division games. In 2011 he was loaned to the second division Thespa Kusatsu . For the club he completed 35 league games. In 2012 he returned to the second division club Shonan Bellmare. In 2012 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. At the end of the 2013 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League.
