Shōtarō Ihata ( Japanese 井 畑 翔 太郎 Ihata Shōtarō ; * February 12, 1987 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Ihata learned to play soccer on the university team at Shizuoka Sangyo University . He signed his first contract with Roasso Kumamoto in 2009 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed 29 league games. In 2011 he moved to Singapore . Here he signed a contract with Albirex Niigata (Singapore) , an offshoot of the Japanese club Albirex Niigata , which played in the S. League . After a year he moved to league rivals Home United . Here he was on the field 22 times. In 2013 Geylang International signed him. The 2014 season he played for Southern Myanmar FC . In 2015 he returned to his former club Albirex Niigata (Singapore). At the end of 2015, he ended his active career as a professional footballer
