Sha ( Chinese  沙县 , Pinyin Shā Xiàn ) is a Chinese district of the prefecture-level city of Sanming in the province of Fujian . It has an area of ​​1,815.09 km² and has a population of around 260,000 (2012). The administrative center is the street district Fenggang (凤岗 街道);
