Shāhi is an ancient Persian silver coin worth 50 dinars . The coin was minted as a silver coin from 1501 and later also as a copper coin.

The Shāhi Sefid ("white Shahi") made of silver was given away as a lucky charm for the New Year celebrations.

Four silver shāhi were worth one Abbasi .
