Roland Jacobi
Roland Jacobi (born March 9, 1893 in Banská Bystrica (then Austria-Hungary ), † May 22, 1951 ) was a Hungarian table tennis player .
Jacobi was the first world champion in the history of table tennis. He won the title in London in 1926.
With the Hungarian team he was also world champion in 1926, 1928 and 1929. He could not take part in the final in 1926 because his father suddenly died and he therefore traveled back to Budapest.
Jacobi earned his living as a lawyer .
