Shahin wick Molaverdi

Shahin wick Molaverdi ( Persian شهیندخت مولاوردی Shahin Wick Molawerdi ; * October 23, 1965 in Choi , West Azerbaijan ) is an Iranian lawyer and has been Vice President of the Women and Family Department within Hassan Ruhani's cabinet since October 8, 2013.

Molaverdi studied law at the Tehran University of Applied Sciences Shahid Beheschti University with a degree in 1988 and at the Allameh Tabatabai University with a degree in international law in 1999. Politically, she is a member of the participation front of Islamic Iran . She is considered a moderate reform politician who advocates women's rights , u. a. in sport.

Molaverdi was received by Pope Francis in February 2015 as the second high-ranking Iranian politician since the Islamic Revolution . Before her, it was the then President Mohammad Chatami , who in 1999 received Pope John Paul II .
