Shalom Harlow (born December 5, 1973 in Oshawa , Ontario ) is a Canadian model and actress .

life and career

The mother chose Shalom , the Hebrew word for peace , for her first name , although she does not belong to the Jewish faith. Harlow was discovered at a concert by The Cure in Toronto and started her modeling career straight out of high school.

Since then, Harlow has been a sought-after mannequin. She can be seen on countless covers of well-known magazines and has worked for many fashion designers, including Ralph Lauren . At the spring fashion show 2009 by the designer Viktor & Rolf , which was conceived as a pure internet broadcast in front of empty auditoriums in October 2008, she presented the entire collection on her own.

In addition to her modeling career, Harlow can also be seen as an actress.
