Shane Salerno
Shane Salerno (born November 27, 1972 in Memphis , Tennessee ) is an American screenwriter and director.
Life
Salerno first appeared in 1991 with the documentary he directed Sundown: The Future of Children and Drugs . In the mid-1990s, several scripts for the television series New York Undercover followed . In 1998 he was involved in the script for Armageddon: The Last Judgment . Shaft followed two years later - Any questions? whose screenplay he developed with Richard Price and director John Singleton . In the years 2001 to 2002 the television series UC: Undercover , developed by him, was broadcast. Salerno was also involved in this as executive producer. Further television and film engagements followed.
In September 2013, a documentary about JD Salinger was published under the title Salinger , directed by Salerno. In parallel to the film, a book of the same name, written by him and David Shields , was published in early September .
