Matthias Puhle (born October 11, 1985 in Duisburg ) is a German handball player .

Career

Matthias Puhle started playing handball at OSC Rheinhausen when he was four . In 2006 he moved to HSG Düsseldorf , with whom he was promoted to the first division in 2009 . From 2011, the 1.92 meter tall handball goalkeeper was under contract with HBW Balingen-Weilstetten . On February 8, 2014 HBW Balingen-Weilstetten announced that Puhle was leaving the club immediately and joining VfL Gummersbach , where he replaced Borko Ristovski , who had moved to Qatar the day before.
