Shanxi Television
Shanxi Television ( Chinese 山西广播电视总台 , abbreviation SXTV ) is a television station in the People's Republic of China , site of the station's Taiyuan in the province of Shanxi .
Shanxi Television was established in 1960 and broadcast in Shanxi Province and parts of Inner Mongolia , Hebei and Shaanxi Provinces . The station reaches 220 million viewers across China via the Chinasat 6A and Chinasat 9 satellites . In addition to its main channels SXTV-1 and SXTV-2, Shanxi Television operates several special interest channels , including a children's, a business and an educational channel .
