Shao Jieni (born January 25, 1994 in the People's Republic of China ) is a Portuguese table tennis player from China . From 2015 to 2019 she took part in all European championships and in the 2016 Olympic Games .
Career
Shao Jieni started playing table tennis at the age of six. In 2010 she came to Gondomar, Portugal . In 2015 she received Portuguese citizenship and was henceforth eligible to play for Portugal. In 2016, through her position in the world rankings, she qualified for participation in the individual competition at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Here she was eliminated from the American Lily Zhang .
